IntheVisibleKoreanproject,642three-dimensional(3D)surfacemodelshavebeenbuilt
fromthesectionedimagesofamalecadaver.ItwasrecentlydiscoveredthatpopularPDFfileenablesuserstoapproachthenumeroussurfacemodelsconvenientlyonAdobe
Reader.PurposeofthisstudywastopresentaPDFfileincludingsystematizedsurface
modelsofhumanbodyasthebeneficialcontents.Toachievethepurpose,fittingsoftwarepackageswereemployedinaccordancewiththeprocedures.Two-dimensional(2D)surfacemodelsincludingtheoriginalsectionedimageswereembeddedintothe3Dsurfacemodels.Thesurfacemodelswerecategorizedintosystemsandthengroups.TheadjustedsurfacemodelswereinsertedtoaPDFfile,whererelevantmultimediadatawereadded.ThefinalizedPDFfilecontainingcomprehensivedataofawholebodycouldbeexploredinvaryingmanners.ThePDFfile,downloadablefreelyfromthehomepage(http://anatomy.co.kr),isexpectedtobeusedasasatisfactoryself-learningtoolofanatomy.RawdataofthesurfacemodelscanbeextractedfromthePDFfileandemployedforvarioussimulationsforclinicalpractice.ThetechniquetoorganizethesurfacemodelswillbeappliedtomanufactureofotherPDFfilescontainingvariousmultimediacontents.
