III. Research and Development results
A. Design of software converged advanced research network and building a prototype
❍ Enhancement of Service and operating efficiency for 500G-class advanced research network
• Enhancement of advanced research network operation and failure correspondence and failure prevention
• Enhancement of operation efficiency 10G-class GLORIAD, 3 international lambda exchange(KRLight) PoPs
• Supporting global collaboration of advanced research projects and advanced research network community
• Designing future advanced research network infrastructure containing backbone infrastructure
• Building and operating the global smart roaming service(Eduroam) as NRO(National Roaming Operator)
• Enhancement of security management system for advanced research network backbone and CERT-KREONET
❍ Advanced research support expansion based on utilizing results of advanced research network
• Successful utilization case creation on Giga-Class advanced research network by advanced research support project
• Support case creation by Integrated advanced research support according to characteristic of advanced research

B. Development of collaborative research platform services on KREONET
❍ Developing the collaborative softwares for the nation's sharing system on the integrated collaborative research environment

❍ Carrying out the National ID federation for the integrated collaborative research environments

C. Building of the cyber security service for KREONET
❍ Establishment of a cyber security system for important research data on KREONET
• Establishment and operation of "Non-Stop" system based real-time security monitoring infrastructure

• Established a management procedure for that security monitoring and computer emergency response of KREONET
