Abstract
본 연구에서는 국내 제조기업의 M&S 활용율 증대를 위한 첫 번째 단계로써 새로운 HPC M&S 서비스 모델을 수립을 진행하였다. 이를 위해 문헌 및 참고자료를 통해 국내외 제조/생산 혁신 계획 및 추진내용 조사․분석을 통하여 해외 슈퍼컴퓨팅센터의 주요 중소기업 정책및 인프라를 조사하였으며, 국내외 학회 및 성과발표회 참석을 통해 제조지원 사업 성과 분석을 실시 하였다. 또한 분석된 내용을 바탕으로 내외부 전문가 집단 및 중소기업 지원 관련 부처와의 협의를 통해 중소기업 지원 발전계획을 수립하였으며, 이는 현재의 기술지원을 위한 인적․물적 한계를 극복할 수 있는 모델로써, 보다 많은 중소․중견 기업들이 HPC 기반 M&S 기술지원의 혜택을 받을 수 있는 체제로 발전시킬 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
Manufacturing industry in South Korea was driving the national economy through highe average annual growth rate and GDP growth. In addition, korean manufacturers proportion is the world's second-largest and manufacturing competitiveness index (7.59) is the world's fifth level that is closed to the world-class. However Korean manufacturing growth and profitability since 2000 is declining cause slowdown due to the maturation. Manufacturing services means a high value-added services such as assessment include R & D to support the production activities of the entire manufacturing activities, planning, consulting, testing. But manufacturing services in korea accounted for approximately 20% of the manufacturing industry. So, Korea government established "Manufacturing innovation plan" that is converged of advanced ICT technologies and manufacturing for example high-performance computing (HPC) ¡¤ 3D printing, etc. Actually, that is has been increasing exponentially demand cause Product development time and cost-saving practices using high performance computers and advanced ICT skills (modeling simulation ¡¤ 3D printing).
Our research, we proposed roadmap is a South Korean manufacturing industry innovation plan which is to promote the manufacturing service industry of South Korea by proliferating a supercomputing based product modeling and simulation in the product development activities of manufacturing companies. Supercomputing based product modeling and simulation in a cyber space will play a key role in the liking the virtual world and physical world preciously.
