현재 국제적으로 미국의 NCBI, IBM 연구소, 스탠포드 대학교, 유럽의 EBI, 일본의 CBI, 산업기술종합연구소(AIST) 등에서 고성능의 슈퍼컴퓨터 및 클러스터 컴퓨터를 이용한 단백질 접힘의 계산 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다.
Today the computational studies of protein folding mechanism are performed actively through the world at NCBI, IBM Watson research center, Stanford university in United States, EBI in Europe, and CBI, AIST in Japan.
