In2009,YangandChangproposedanID-basedremotemutualauthenti-cationwithkeyagreementschemeonellipticcurvecryptosystem(ECC).BaseduponID-basedconcept,YangandChangscheme(YCscheme)doesnotrequireadditionalcomputationsforcertifcateandisnotconstructedbybilinear-pairings,whichisanex-pensiveoperationonellipticcurve.Inaddition,YCschemenotonlyprovidesmutualauthenticationbutalsosupportsasessionkeyagreementbetweentheuserandtheserver.Therefore,YCschemeismoreefficientandpracticalthantherelatedworks.
