Weproposedthesystematicmonitoringprocessforidentifyingcompetitors’patentswhichcompetitorshavecurrentlybeenimplemented.Twokindsoffactorswereconsideredtocomparewithsimilaritiesbetweenapairofpatentsthrough2-dimensionalhybridsimilaritycalculationmethod:Oneistechnology-termsdescribedinclaim-partofpatentdocumentdefiningtechnologyboundariesorprotectionconferredbyapatentandtheotheristechnology-classificationassignedaspatentcategorization.Forthepurposeofhavingaverificationofourproposedmethod,4kindsofrealpatentinfringementcasesthatwerelegallyarguedinthenearpastwereadoptedandappliedinthisstudy.
