dc.description.abstract
Tier systems disseminate the data of LHC (Large Hadron Collider) experiments to scientists who may be located at any place in the world. Tier systems have a hierarchical structure and run TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) to deliver the experimental data between tier systems. In this paper, we improve the TCP protocol for data delivery between tier systems. The improved performance is analyzed numerically and verified by simulations.
