dc.description.abstract
In this paper, we propose an architecture for Grid network resource management system over GMPLS networks and a Grid network resource scheduling scheme supporting e-Science applications. The proposed system and scheme enables users to create their own controllable and dynamic end-to-end lightpaths. Thus, the system can guarantee end-to-end network performance and improve the throughput and the reliability of massive experimental data transfer.
