Abstract

○ 세계적 수준의 실험데이터 저장 인프라 구축 ･ CERN WLCG 최상위데이터센터 세계 10위 수준 달성 ･ 실험데이터 확보용 저장 인프라 구축 확대 (Disk: 1.5PB) ･ 가동률 99%의 안정적인 데이터센터 운영 ○ 실험데이터 공유분석 환경 구축 및 서비스 ･ ALICE, CMS 등 7대 분야 국내연구자 직접지원을 위한 데이터 공유·분석 환경 확장 구축 및 서비스 ･ 국내 첨단연구장비-데이터센터 연계 데이터공유·분석환경 서비스 구축 ･ 데이터 작업처리: 689만건 이상 수행 ･ SCI 논문유발 70편 ○ 대용량실험데이터 활용 커뮤니티 지원 및 활성화 (슈퍼컴퓨팅 연계 전주기 컨설팅 지원) ･ (전주기 컨설팅 2건) 중력파, 구조생물학 분야 전주기 연구 컨설팅 수행 ･ 사용자협의회 개최 및 사용자 기술지원 ○ 연구데이터 공유·분석 서비스를 통한 오픈사이언스 체계 구축 ･ 오픈사이언스를 위한 데이터센터 통합 관리 플랫폼 ･ 오픈소스 기반의 데이터 그리드 기술 및 데이터센터 인프라 관리 자동화 기술 ･ 미국 FermiLab과의 국제협력연구을 통한 대용량데이터 전송기술 개발 ※ 본 사업의 활성화를 위한 과학기술정보통신부 수탁사업 연계 추진 - "기초연구실험데이터글로벌허브구축“ (2017.03.01~ 2017.12.31)

Result of the study The main purpose of this project focuses more on the construction of the infrastructure and data computing services. ○ Expansion of Infrastructure and Stabilization of Services ･Expansion of storage infrastructure for large-scale experiment data in Peta-scale ･Preparation of foundation for acquisition of raw data and service provision in world-leading level ･High level service availability and usage - Service availability : 98.9% - Processed jobs : 6,890,000 jobs ○ Construction of Research Communities and Service Activation ･Technical support and user training - The number of technical support and user training activities : 139 ･Promotion of research communities - The number of papers indexed in SCI promoted by GSDC : 70 - The number of collaboration meeting with users : 2 ･Achievement of high graded user satisfaction survey - Scored 93.2 out of 100 from the survey performed against users ･Associating the project entrusted by MSIP for the success of this project - "Global hub for Experiment Data of Basic Science“ (2017.03.01 ~ 2017.12.31.)
