Abstract

○ 세계적 수준의 실험데이터 저장 인프라 구축 ･ KISTI-CERN 10Gbps 가속기데이터 전용망 연계 1PB 데이터전송 ･ 전용망 연계 RUN2 데이터 확보용 저장 인프라 구축 (1.5PB, NFEC 완료) ･ XRootD 기반 대용량데이터 관리기술 확보 및 서비스 (단일 2PB 관리) ○ 실험데이터 공유분석 환경 구축 및 서비스 ･ ALICE, CMS 데이터 공유분석 환경 확장 구축 및 서비스 ･ 사용자 작업처리: 390만건 이상 수행 (목표 300만, 달성률 100%) ･ 서비스 가동률 98% 유지 (목표 97%, 세계표준) ･ SCI 논문유발 61편 (목표 40편, 달성률 100%) ○ 대용량실험데이터 활용 커뮤니티 지원 및 활성화 (슈퍼컴퓨팅 전주기 컨설팅 지원) ･ (신규1건) 국내 사용자 전용 유전체 신규 팜 구축 ･ (전주기 컨설팅 2건) LIGO 실험, 유전체분야 전주기 연구 컨설팅 수행 ･ (국내실험전용 팜) 6개실험분야 국내연구자 전용팜 구축 지원 ･ 분기별 사용자협의회 개최 및 공동워크샵 개최 ○ 대용량데이터센터 인프라 관리기술 개발 연구 ･ (신규구축)KISTI GCloud 구축 완료 ･ KISTI GCloud ↔ FNAL FermiCloud 이기종 클라우드간 연동테스트 진행 ･ (연구성과) 이기종 클라우드간 1000개 이상의 가상머신을 통한 작업처리, 국제학술대회 2편,소프트웨어 패키지 1개 ※ 본 사업의 활성화를 위한 미래창조과학부 수탁사업 연계 추진 - "기초연구실험데이터글로벌허브구축“ (2015.3.01~ 2016.2.28)

Ⅳ. Result of the study The basic principle of this project is oriented to establish the infrastructure, we put focus more on the construction of the infrastructure. The result of the activities of launching associated project as a new project derived from this project for the successful promotion of this project is summarized as the result of the research and development. The achievements are summarized as following: ○ Expansion of Infrastructure and Stabilization of Services ･Expansion of storage infrastructure for large-scale experiment data in Peta-scale - 1,500TB Storage (Totally, about 6,000TB) ･Preparation of foundation for acquisition of raw data and service provision in world-leading level ･Upgrade of GSDC local network to full 10Gbps ･High level service availability and usage - Service availability : 98.42% - Processed jobs : 3,900,000 jobs ○ Construction of Research Communities and Service Activation ･Technical support and user training - The number of technical support and user training activities : 102 ･Promotion of research communities - The number of papers indexed in SCI promoted by GSDC : 61 - The number of user association meeting held by GSDC : 4 - The number of international collaboration meeting and workshop held by GSDC : 2 ･Achievement of high graded user satisfaction index - Scored 86 out of 100 from the survey performed against users ･Associating the project entrusted by MSIP for the success of this project - "Global hub for Experiment Data of Basic Science“ (2015.03.01 ~ 2016.02.28.)
