dc.description.abstract
ㅇ We were involved in a variety of supercomputing service activities which include infrastructure operation, service integration, user supports, industrial supercomputing support, and outreach.
ㅇ We operated supercomputer Gaia and Tachyon system without continuously without breakage: total operating ratio and user job success ratio is over 99% and 90%, respectively
ㅇ The roadmap on national supercomputing resource integration service was proposed which integrated distributed computing resources and provided various supercomputing services including high-performance computing, high-throughput computing, and etc.
ㅇ Applied HPC support program supported 203 projects and induced 126 SCI papers, including 3 NCS journal papers.
ㅇ We treated beyond 1,950 queries from users via e-mail, phone call, and web page.
ㅇ We supported the optimization and parallelization of 16 user codes which include 5 large-scale application code beyond 4,000 core scalability.
ㅇ We have developed supercomputing application technologies
- Developed a highly scalable poisson solver and applied to user code
- Developed optimization/paraellization schemes for manycore architectures using CUDA, OpenCL, and so on
ㅇ We provided the visualization service on the analysis of scientific simulation results for various atmospheric and ocean phenomena.
