Ⅲ. 연구개발의 내용 및 범위 2012년도 본 사업은 크게 인프라 구축 부문과 서비스 부문, 사용자 지원 활성화를 위한 기술 개발, 커뮤니티 활성화 등으로 나뉜다. 세부 항목별 당해 연도 사업 목표는 다음과 같다. ○ 데이터센터 저장 시스템 추가 도입 (1,000 CPU, 1,000TB 스토리지, 1,000TB 아카이빙) • ALICE Tier1 테스트베드 자원 확충 • CDF 실험데이터 공동 활용 추가지원 • LIGO, STAR 테스트베드 구축 • 국내 사용자 지원 확대 ○ 데이터 공동 활용 전용 그리드 인프라 구축 • 그리드 기반 분야별 전용 가상화 데이터 팜 구축 • 가속기 분야 인프라 규모 확대 (ALICE, CDF, Belle) • 해외 선진기관 보유 원천 실험데이터 추가 확보 (Alice Tier1 Raw Data) • 시범시스템 구축: LIGO, STAR 분야 • ALICE/CERN WLCG Tier1 테스트 베드 구축 ○ 대용량 데이터센터 서비스 기술 개발 • 의과학 융합 연구 접근 제어 모델 및 기술개발 • Belle Full-recon 분야 선도 연구 및 활성화 • CERN Tier1 센터 데이터 활용 연구 ○ 커뮤니티 활성화 • 800,000건 이상의 데이터센터 활용 지원 • 사용자 만족도 우수(85점) 이상 • 24시간 글로벌 시범 서비스 체제 구축 • 사용자 지원 및 워크숍 개최 등을 통한 연구 커뮤니티 활성화

Ⅲ. Content and scope of the study As of 2012, this project is composed of several sub-projects: the construction of infrastructure and service, technology development for user support, and the promotion of research community. The content and scope of the project in this year is: ○ Extension of Data Center's storage system (1,000CPU; 1,000TB Storage, 1,000 TB Archiving) • The extension of resources for ALICE Tier1 Testbed • The extension of resource support for the sharing of CDF data • The building of Testbed for LIGO experiment and STAR experiment • The extension of resource support for domestic users ○ Construction of grid infrastructure for the shared use of experiment data • The construction of dedicated data farm for each domain • The capability extension of grid infrastructure for ALICE, CDF, Belle • The extended support for Alice Tier1 Raw Data • The construction of test-bed for LIGO and STAR • The construction of test-bed for ALICE/CERN WLCG Tier1 ○ Development of support service for Large-scale Data Center • Development of access control model and technology for convergence research in medical science. • Belle data analysis with Full Reconstruction method using GSDC facilities • Research for data usage in CERN Tier1 center ○ Promotion of Research Communities • The provision of more than 800,000 running jobs by GSDC • The construction of prototype 24 hours global service • The promotion of research communities by user support and workshops
