Ⅲ. 연구개발의 내용 및 범위
가. 연구 내용
ㅇ 연 4회의 과제공모(1월, 4월, 7월, 10월)와 수시체제를 통해 과제를 발굴하여 총 60개 과제(전략과제 56, 거대도전과제 4)가 최종 선정되어, 1,802구좌 (IBM p595 1,079구좌, NEC SX-6 25구좌, SUN B6048 760구좌)의 자원을 지원
ㅇ 고급 기술 지원인 최적화/병렬화 : 총 18건 지원 요청 완료
ㅇ 교육 지원 : 온라인 교육 및 정기교육을 통한 280명 및 동영상 교육 253건
- 신규 교육 프로그램 개발 3종 추가
ㅇ 응용 소프트웨어 : 구조해석, 열유체, 화학/생명, 범용수치연산 등의 분야에 대하여 15종 소프트웨어 지원 중
ㅇ 사용자 기술 지원 : 296건 지원으로 작년대비 130% 증가
Ⅲ. Contents and scope of the Study
ㅇ The strategic support program : 70 newly selected program, 87 continuation program from 2009
- To 2010/11/10 the 93 induced SCI papers
- The one of the core-supporting-scientist, Prof. Kwang-Soo Kim (POSTECH) published two papers on Nature
ㅇ Advanced technology supports (Optimization/Parallelization) : 18 programs
ㅇ Enducation supports : 280 persons with online and regular program, 253 events with VOD, two times GPGPU, one professional OpenMP educations
ㅇ Application Software supports : 15 softwares for Structure, Thermal/Fluid Mechanics, Chemistry/Bio, Multipurpose Algebra, etc
ㅇ User supports : 296 times that is 130% increased w.r.t. last year
