생명정보 활용체제 구축

Abstract

* 생명정보 확보 및 인터페이스 개발 - BIND, DIP, MHCBN, JenPep 등의 DB를 선정하여 약 160,000 건의 DB 를 구축하였고, 웹을 통하여 관련 연구자들이 검색하고 이용할 수 있도록 인터넷 서비스를 제공하고 있음. - NRDB 갱신 : 3,052,919 건 - 데이터 수집에 필요한 CCBB FTP 모듈 개발 1 건

* 생명정보 웹 서비시스 체제 구축 - 생명정보 서비스 분야에서 국내 최초로 웹 서비시스를 위한 UDDI 레지스트리 구축 및 운영 - DIP, BIND, GenBank 웹 서비시스 API 개발 3건, 배포 및 운영 - 포탈 서비스 시범 사이트 구축(통합 검색 , 분석 )

* CODATA 의 국가 대표 기관의 역할 수행 - CODATA DSAO TG 국제 사무국 KISTI/CCBB 에 유치 - 국제 심포지엄 개최 1 건 (DSAO 2004 인도네시아, CODATA 본부예산확보 운영) - 국제총회 참석 1 건 (24차 CODATA General Assembly, 독일 ) - 실적보고서 제출 2건 (National Report, DSAO TG report)

The purpose of this study is to establish the national infrastructure of bioinformatics for the researchers and scientists to use more easily the bioinformatics resources such as DB, software tools and computing resources. To accomplish this mission, we construct Proteomics DB, establish the Web Services environment and collaborate with the committee of CODATA, an interdisciplinary Scientific Committee of the International Council for Science (ICSU).
