정보 서비스 시스템 개발 및 운영

Abstract

국내외의 기관으로부터 입수된 과학기술 분야의 학술지, 회의자료, 연구보고서, 학위논문 및 특허 등의 정보를 수집, 가공하여 컴퓨터 데이터베이스로 축적 시키고 이용자 중심의 웹 기반 정보검색 인터페이스를 개발하여 R&D 종사자들에게 최신의 정보를 제공하는 정보서비스 시스템을 개발하고 운영하였다. SEARCH97 및 KRISTAL-2000으로 이원화되어 운영되는 정보검색엔진을 최신버전인 KRISTAL-2002 검색엔진으로 모두 일원화 하였고, KISTI에서 보유한 분석정보, 동향정보, 과학기술문헌정보, 특허정보, 연구보고서 및 인력정보 등 6개 분야 약 4,500만건에 대한 데이터 Migration을 수행하였다. 또한 독자적으로 서비스되던 6개 분야의 데이터베이스를 통합검색 할 수 있는 통합검색 홈페이지를 개발하여 KISTI 정보자원을 한곳에서 접근하여 이용자들에게 제공할 수 있는 이용자 중심의 정보서비스 체제를 실현하였다. 과학기술 정보유통체제를 구축하기 위해 도입된 컴퓨터 하드웨어, 시스템소프트웨어 및 데이터베이스 자원의 체계적인 관리와 보호의 임무를 수행하고 국내 정보이용자들이 필요한 정보를 안정적이며 실시간으로 이용할 수 있는 시스템인프라를 제공하였다. 고성능 유닉스 체제의 컴퓨터 서버를 저비용 고성능의 리눅스 체제로 전환하기 위해 pc서버를 30대와 백업용 NAS 10Tb를 도입하여 차기 시스템에 대비한 모델체제를 구축하였다.

First of all, we developed an integrated retrieval system that provides services using journals, conference information, research papers, and thesis. The system was developed to be user-friendly and made the source information available through linking it to the system. We also updated new information regularly. Secondly, we developed an academic content management system that can be systematically managed from acquisition of domestic academic data to its distribution. Thirdly, we upgraded the operating systems of the infrastructure of information system through the construction and securing of the network facilities, monitoring of the information system, and introduction of new information systems and created a basis for sharing these facilities.
