주문형 전자상거래 시스템을 위한 데이터 Access 및 Integration 서비스의 그리드 미들웨어 표준화

Abstract

I. 제 목 주문형 전자상거래 시스템을 위한 데이터 Access 및 Integration 서비스의 그리드 미들웨어 표준화 II. 연구개발의 목적 및 중요성 인터넷의 급속한 발전에 힘입어 인터넷을 이용한 다양한 응용 서비스들이 출현하였다. 그 중에서 전자상거래는 부가가치를 만들어내는 인터넷의 핵심 응용분야로 발전하였다. 이러한 전자상거래 서비스를 안정적으로 제공하기 위한 기반 시스템을 구축하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷의 속성상 어느 경우에나 안정적 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하는 것은 매우 큰 고정 비용을 요구하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 고정 비용을 줄이면서도 서비스를 안정적으로 제공하기 위한 주문형 전자상거래 서비스 구축을 위한 그리드 미들웨어 표준안을 제시함을 목적으로 한다. III. 연구개발의 내용 및 범위 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 통한 가치창출의 핵심 분야중 하나인 전자상거래 서비스를 안정적으로 지원할 수 있는 그리드 프레임워크를 연구한다. 인터넷의 특성상 항상 안정적인 서비스의 제공은 사실상 불가능하며, 또한 전자상거래 분야는 그 부하의 편차가 매우 크다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이러한 서비스를 통합 GRID pool에게 동적으로 자원을 요구하는 방식으로 진화시킴으로서 안정적인 서비스의 제공이 가능해진다. 이를 위해 전자상거래 서비스를 구성하고 있는 각 구성 요소들(특히 데이터베이스 및 웹 어플리케이션)이 통합 자원 환경에서 각자의 필요에 따른 주문을 통해 동적으로 자원을 할당받을 수 있는 기술을 연구한다. I. Title A Grid middleware standard of data access and integration service for on- demand e- commerce system II. Objective and importance of the study As the Internet grows rapidly, various application services have appeared in the Internet. Among them, e- commerce has grown as a key application. There are various researches to establish an infrastructure which provides a stable e- commerce service. However, it requires very high fixed cost. Grid can be a solution to the problem. This study aims to propose a Grid middleware standard for on- demand e- commerce system. A result of this study will innovate a system to provide a stable e- commerce service with low fixed cost III. Content and scope of the study In this study, we research on a Grid middleware which supports a e- commerce service. It is very difficult to provide a stable service at all times because workload of e- commerce application has very big variance. Static resource allocation doesn""t make things better. As a solution to this problem, it is necessary to use a Grid framework which enables a service provider to use available resources from Grid pool dynamically. For this purpose, we study a mechanism which enables a component of e- commerce systems to get enough resources dynamically in on- demand fashion. IV.
