국가 문헌센터 건립 최적화 연구

Abstract

고도의 지식정보사회에 들어서면서 과학기술정보인프라 구축의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이에 따라 과학기술정보인프라 구축의 국내 대표 전문정보기관인 KISTI는 역할재조정을 통한 장기적이고 거시적인 비전과 더불어 구체적인 실천안들을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 비전과 실천안들은 이용자의 어떠한 선택적 요구에도 부응할 수 있는 하이브리드형태의 정보제공시스템을 갖춘다는 의미이기도 하다. 그런데 하이브리드형태의 정보제공 시스템을 갖추기 위해선 인쇄자원의 망라적인 수집을 통해 클리어링하우스 기능과, 분산된 전자자원에 대한 포탈게이트웨이 기능을 통합적으로 제공할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하며, 또한 국가 Repository기능을 수행할 수 있는 시설과 설비를 갖춰야만 한다는 것을 전제 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국가 대표기관으로서 강화시켜야 될 기능으로 국가공동 보존프로그램 운영에 대한 제안을 하고 있으며, 그러한 기능들이 행해질 수 있는 시설과 설비를 갖춘 적정규모의 정보센터 건립의 최적화에 관한 일련의전 과정을 다루고 있다.

III. The content and scope of the study

In this study, various and essential matters of the optimal model building concerning the establishment of the national scientific technology information center are handled. First of all, this study suggests a plan and strategy which make it possible to conduct functions as the national repository and portal gateway of the electronic resource and proposes space program for the optimal building construction . Therefore, the contents of this study covers the building of the national scientific technology information center as well as all processes of functions and roles for information center which will be builded.
